Looks like you are off to an excellent start. Referencing your previous blog post, I must also admit that I was a tad intimidated by the 'foreign' concept of action research. However, I kept reading and observing other colleagues' posts and discovered that it is exactly as it is explained in our texts.
ReplyDeleteI gained more confidence by studying the 8 recommended steps then branching out from there. I also realized that the action research project could even extend into the next school year, if I desired. For example, would this sample group simply forget all of the benefits of the project and abandon them moving forward, or would they retain them and implement them for tghe greater good of their children?
Great start! I believe that parent involvement does have an impact on students success. However, there are those students that are very successful even without parent involvement.
